5am: BEEP, BEEP, BEEEEEP, BEEEEEEP.......
That all too familiar sound of that annoying alarm going off and now the first thing you run to is the coffee! Often times we load this up with sugar and creamer and it's not really aiding in your quest to hit macros and/or fitness goals. Well it's time to change that.
Most people don't think about it but by adding some supplements to that morning, or afternoon, coffee brew can help you and your body with more than just the quick pick-me-up! Check out this simple recipe to spice up your coffee with

- 1 cup drip coffee
- 1/4 Cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 scoop preferred protein (MtnOps Candy Cane or Choc Caramel Magnum)
- Brew a cup of drip coffee
- Add almond milk
- Add protein
- Mix with a handheld milk frother or in a blender
(For those of your really trying to build that extra muscle, throw in a couple grams of creatine to this, especially during the loading phase that is so important.)
